Very poor staff. I was told open access was between 12:00 and 2:00, staff was not in office until 12:45 and claimed they were "at lunch" and proceeded to catch attitude with me because they not only did not inform patients of the situation but we're upset that suggested they "perhaps put up a sign". Tiffany the supervisor then caught attitude with me when I SPELLED my NAME out loud for her and her lesser staff. At this point I was frustrated as she had no concerns for the individuals in the lobby, she then asked me to "take a seat" and suggested that she would get to me "when she could" and proceeded to take in other open access patients, which one could interpret as a slight against then as obviously open access is NOT a scheduled event. I then filed a grievance which was handed differently to the supervisor, the person in which the grievance was file for. I felt because of her attitude towards me, my husband and other patrons that perhaps it would not be appropriate to tile simply TO her and proceeded to call the hotline and spoke to Robert, a very polite and understanding hotline director. I feel he, unlike the staff in building, was very helpful and assured me he would file the grievance with Tiffany's supervisor and an investigation would be launched. I will wait for the results but until then I will continue to drive from Crystal River to Ocala to receive treatment from the VERY polite staff in the adult therapy building.

From my experience I would have to say you get what you pay for. I would imagine resources for the centers are scarce seeing that most of it patients are socioeconomically disadvantaged forcing them to get help at a place seriously underfunded due to having to rely on a broken Medicare, Medicaid, and an overall healthcare system.

What can I say about this place the staff should all be fried and put people. In their that cares about you I will never be back for help from u nuts up at the center's AGAIN

That being said, the counselor I spoke with was friendly and professional. On the other hand, the administrative arm of the Centers needs work. On several occasions I have had problems with scheduling as well as necessary paperwork needed for my continued care. Healthcare workers can only do so much with limited resources and I have come to expect this. I can't blame them for trying. Maybe if our political leaders got serious about caring for the people and took their hands outta the deep pockets of the special interests from the healthcare industry and let common sense guide decision making when it came to creating a real healthcare system!

I went here twice as a teen and both times the doctors were VERY rude and disrespectful. The place is a little unorganized and it seemed that the front counter staff talked among each other more than being concerned with questions and usually joked about clients after they've left. However, I really enjoyed both my therapists. They made me feel so much better and relaxed. These ladies are the reason behind my 3 star rating. They genuinely cared for me and wanted to help me.

Will force you to pay for their mistakes. They scheduled my appointment wrong, wrote the wrong dates and wanted me to pay for the "missed" appointment". The appointment was never scheduled and even worse the therapist called and argued with me for 10 minutes while I was working to saying "perhaps you just saw the dates wrong" as opposed to perhaps she wrote them down wrong. Unbelievable, but to them it's all dollar signs . You are forced to pay for the missed appointments even if they are scheduled WRONG. If you have a choice, do not come here, if you're being forced to come here I am so sorry for you and the pain that you face at the hands of these businesses. Please, seek real help for yourself and know that this is a business and there are people out there that can and want to help you.- Erica Michelle Almeida
