I had to take my cat here after hours for an emergency and the young woman that was on call that evening apparently did not have enough experience with cats because she was no help at all, after spending $300.00 for no help, I had to put my kitty down the next day at my regular Vet in Dunnellon who knew immediately what was wrong! (Cat heart worm). No one should be on emergency call if they don't know what the heck they are doing! I will never bring any animal to this place ever again! I marked one star because I had to to post this review!
By far the very best pet care around. The building is very clean and the staff members and doctors are all very welcoming, caring, and knowledgeable. They go over and beyond in service. Very professional. I recommend this vet to everybody I know and they have never disappointed. If you want the best care for your furry family members- Lecanto Veterinary Hospital is the place to go!
I took my boxer pup to Lecanto Vet Hospital after my she was accidently hit by a car, which resulted in road rash and several lacerations to her left hind leg. I just wanted her to be okay and although I quickly explained my tight financial situation, without hesitation, they immediately went to work. With a fairly minimal cost, considering it was emergency visit, we were in and out in about an hour! I am amazed at their level of care and compassion for my pup and consideration of cost. I will gladly continue to bring my pets here in the future!! Thank you all so much for fixing my fur baby, you all are amazing ;)
